Power backplane Diagnostic error codes Note: In the following error codes, if xxx is 000, 195, or 197, do not replace a FRU. The description for these error codes are: 000 The server passed the test. 195 The Esc key was pressed to end the test. 197 This is a warning error and might not indicate a hardware failure. For all error codes, replace the FRU or follow the action indicated. Note: See Chapter 7, "Parts listing, Types 8861, 8862," on page 139 to determine which components are replaceable by the customer and which components must be replaced by an IBM field service technician. Error code/symptom FRU/action 001-198-000 (Test Aborted) 1. Check error log for messages. 2. Run Quick Memory Test All Banks. 3. Reload server BIOS code and rerun test. 001-250-00x (Test Failed) x of 0 = ECC logic on I/O board; x of 1 = ECC logic on memory board 1. Check error log for messages. 2. Run Quick Memory Test All Banks. 3. Rerun ECC test. 4. Memory cassette. 5. I/O board. 001-292-000 (Core system: failed/CMOS checksum failed) Load BIOS defaults and rerun test. 001-xxx-000 (Failed core tests) v I/O board 001-xxx-001 (Failed core tests) v I/O board 005-xxx-000 (Failed Video test) v I/O board 011-xxx-000 (Failed COM1 Serial Port test) v I/O board 015-xxx-001 (Failed USB test) v I/O board 015-xxx-015 (Failed USB external loopback test) v I/O board 015-xxx-198 (Remote Supervisor Adapter II installed) or (USB device connected during USB test) 1. If Remote Supervisor Adapter II is installed as an option, remove it and rerun test.
