b. Place the cable into the cable connector and pull the bottom edge of the connector toward the front of the server to secure the cable. 10. Attach the wire to the diskette drive beginning with the front hole, making sure to guide the wire into the hook. 11. Replace the bezel and top cover. 12. Reconnect external cables and power cords. Turn off the server and all peripheral devices; then, disconnect all power cords and external cables. 2. Remove the top cover and bezel (see "Removing the cover and bezel" on page 32). 3. Remove the cable from the media interposer card. 4. Remove the screw securing the corner of the pivoting panel to the chassis. When the screw is fully loosened, it might be necessary to insert the blade of the screwdriver slightly under the head of the screw and lever it up. Curved channel Release latch 5. Press the blue latch on the front panel to release the assembly. Do not pivot the assembly. 6. Pull the assembly slightly out of the server without pivoting the assembly. 7. Pull the assembly out of the front of the server. It might be necessary to lift the assembly up slightly while sliding it out. 8. Assemble the replacement operator information panel and cable. 9. Guiding the cable through first, insert the assembly into the server through the front. The shoulder screw on the bottom of the assembly will glide along the straight guide channel in the chassis. 10. Gently slide the assembly into the server along the straight guide channel, keeping the cable free. off
the
server
