8 SET MODE D Weather Alert A NOAA broadcast station transmits a weather alert tone before important weather information. When "10" is se- lected, the previously selected (used) weather channel is checked any time during standby, or while scanning. When "10 YKVJ 9: 5%#0" is selected, the weather channels are sequentially checked during standby, or while scanning.
