Front Control Panel Intel® Server Systems SR1530CL/SR1530HCL/SR1530HCS and SR1530CLR/SR1530HCLR/SR1530HCLSR The current limiting resistors for the power LED, the system fault LED, and the NIC LEDs are located on the Intel® Server Board S5000VCL. 5.1.1 Power/Sleep LED Table 18. SSI Power LED Operation State Power Mode LED Power Off Non-ACPI Off Description System power is off, and the BIOS has not initialized the chipset. Power On Non-ACPI On System power is on, but the BIOS has not yet initialized the chipset. S5 ACPI Off Mechanical is off, and the operating system has not saved any context to the hard disk. S4 S3-S1 ACPI ACPI Off Slow blink 1 Mechanical is off. The operating system has saved context to the hard disk. DC power is still on. The operating system has saved context and gone into a level of low-power state. S0 ACPI Steady on System and the operating system are up and running. Note: 1. The blink rate is ~ 1Hz with at 50% duty cycle. 5.1.2 System Status LED Table 19. Control Panel LED Operation Color Off Green Green State N/A Solid on Blink Criticality Not ready Ok Degraded Description System not ready: Post error/NMI event/PCI or terminator missing System booted and ready System degraded Unable to use all of the installed memory (more than one DIMM installed). Correctable errors over a threshold of 10 and migrating to a spare DIMM (memory sparing). This indicates that the user no longer has spared DIMMs indicating a redundancy lost condition. Corresponding DIMM LED should light up. In mirrored configuration, when memory mirroring takes place and system loses memory redundancy. Redundancy loss such as power-supply or fan. This does not apply to non-redundant sub-systems. PCI-e link errors CPU failure/disabled - if there are two processors and one of them fails Fan alarm - Fan failure. Number of operational fans should be more than minimum number needed to cool the system Non-critical threshold crossed - Temperature and voltage 24 Revision 2.2 Intel order number D71005-005
