Power Supply Module This section introduces the replacement procedure for the power supply module. The following figure shows the location of power supply module on the server chassis: Figure 29. Power Supply Location Note: Before you remove or install the power supply, complete the following steps: 1. Make sure the server is not turned on or connected to the AC power. To power off the server, see "Power Off". 2. Disconnect all necessary cable connections. Removing the Power Supply Module 1. Pull down the power supply handle in the horizontal direction. 2. Press the retaining clip on the left side of the power supply along the direction of the arrow. 3. Simultaneously pull out the power supply by using its handle. Power Supply Module
This section introduces the replacement procedure for the power supply module. The
following figure shows the location of power supply module on the server chassis:

Note:
Before you remove or install the power supply, complete the following steps:
1.
Make sure the server is not turned on or connected to the AC power. To power off
the server, see
“Power Off”
.
2.
Disconnect all necessary cable connections.
Removing the Power Supply Module
1.
Pull down the power supply handle in the horizontal direction.
2.
Press the retaining clip on the left side of the power supply along the direction of
the arrow.
3.
Simultaneously pull out the power supply by using its handle. (The power supply
takes considerable force to remove.)
