All indications corresponding to the current VCR status are displayed for 5 seconds. NOTES: • The subtitles do not appear while the on-screen display is displayed. • If the VCR is in recording pause mode, "Y" is always displayed. • The VCR status can be also displayed during playback. • Even if "SUPERIMPOSE" is set to "OFF" (A page 68), the on- screen display appears when the VCR plays back the blank portion of a tape and the VCR receives the channel which has no broadcast. However, on-screen display does not appear when the input location is selected and no signal is input.
