40 EN VCR Plus+ C3® Timer Programming (Analog Broadcast Only) • Turn on the VCR and the TV, and select the AV mode on the TV. • Set the [VCR/TV/CABLE/DBS] selector on the Remote to [VCR]. Up to 24 timer recording programs can be made using VCR Plus+ timer programming or Express timer programming method (A page 44) as far as a year in advance. The VCR Plus+ timer programming system eliminates the need to input channel, date, start and stop time data when programming timer recording settings. Simply key in the PlusCode number for the TV broadcast you wish to record and the VCR's timer will be automatically programmed. (The PlusCode programming numbers are the numbers next to the program in most TV listing.) A Load a cassette Make sure the record safety tab is intact. If not, cover the hole with adhesive tape, then load it into the VCR. • The VCR turns on, and the counter is reset, automatically. B Access VCR Plus+ screen Press [PROGRAM] on TIMER PROGRAM the Remote. PLUSCODE NUMBER SET • The clock must be set to access the VCR Plus+ screen. If you have not set the clock, the Main Menu screen appears after an error message is displayed. Refer to page 15 for the clock setting procedure. SET PROG. PRESS NUMBER KEYS [0-9] OR EXIT START STOP DATE CH PRESS [+/ ] TO SET EXPRESS PROGRAMMING C Enter PlusCode number Press the appropriate TIMER PROGRAM 'Number' keys to PLUSCODE NUMBER SET input the PlusCode number printed in the 1 2 3 4 5 TV listings for the TV broadcast you wish to SET record, then press [OK]. PROG. PRESS NUMBER KEYS [0-9] OR EXIT START STOP DATE CH PRESS [+/ ] TO SET EXPRESS PROGRAMMING Then; If the Guide Channel Set screen appears - go to step D. If the VCR Plus+ Program screen appears - go to step E. • To make corrections, press [CANCEL] and input the correct PlusCode number. • If an incorrect PlusCode number or one where the broadcast already ended has been inputted, "PLUSCODE NO. ERROR CONFIRM PLUSCODE NO. THEN RETRY" is displayed for about 5 seconds, then the VCR Plus+ screen reappears.
