52 Speaker setting Changing the INPUT MODE DVR-505/DVR-7000 (EN) Level setting using a music source A music source can be used for speaker level setting and subwoofer level setting. 1 Play a disc marked "Dolby Digital". SELECT Operations T. 2 Select the speaker. F C R SW 3 Press the TRIM (5/∞) key to setting the speaker level. Speaker level adjustment can be performed by pressing the keys F, C, R, and SW. F: Front speakers Switching is done as follows each time the switch is pressed. 1 L ch : Left speaker 2 R ch : Right speaker C: Center speaker R: Rear (Surround) speakers Switching is done as follows each time the switch is pressed. 1 LS ch : Left surround speaker 2 RS ch : Right surround speaker SW: Subwoofer The speaker level can be changed in the range from -10 dB to +10 dB. M TRIM U LTI C O N Changing the INPUT MODE The input mode can be switched with SAT and AV AUX. For listening to SAT input with high sound quality, connect the digital output of your satellite tuner with coaxial or optical cable and change the input mode as follows. 1 Select the SAT or AV AUX key. SAT or AV AUX When the video is displayed, but no sound is put Note out, the source may not contain digital audio. In such a case, please switch to ANALOG. 2 Press the INPUT MODE key. INPUT MODE RANDOM Each press switches the mode. SAT input AV AUX input 1 ANALOG 1 ANALOG 2 COAXIAL 2 OPTICAL 3 OPTICAL
