Setup and Registration (System Menu) > System Menu Menu Settings This section explains the functions that can be configured in Menu. To configure the settings, select the item in System Menu and select the setting item. For details on each function, see the table below. Low Toner Alert Security I/F Block Set. Security Level Data Security Description Configure settings for printing reports and histories. This counts the number of pages printed. Configure settings for paper. Configure settings for printing. Configures network settings. Specify the network to be used for the send function, the network authentication and connecting to external address book. Configure settings for the optional Network Interface Kit or Wireless Network Interface Kit. Select the language displayed on the message display. Select the screen to be displayed when [Document Box] key is selected. Configure settings related to the date and time. Set options for buzzer sound during the machine operations. A RAM disk can be created and its size can be set. Format an optional SSD. Format an optional SD/SDHC memory card. Set the brightness of the message display. Select whether to cancel or continue the job when error has occurred. Select whether printing is prohibited or the Print in Black and White setting is used for printing once the color toner runs out. Configure settings related to the time. Set the display method of the Status/Log. Select the type of USB keyboard that you want to use. Set the Bluetooth keyboard. Set the amount of remaining toner to notify the administrator when to order a toner when the toner is running low. The security functions can be set up to protect printer operation and the print data. This allows you to protect this machine by blocking the interface with external devices such as USB hosts or optional interfaces. The Security Level setting is primarily a menu option used by service personnel for maintenance work. There is no need for customers to use this menu. Configure settings for data stored in the optional SSD and machine's memory.
