3. Tap until the shutter sounds. The camera brings the image into focus. When the image is in focus, the focus indicators in each corner turn green and the camera takes a picture. (Your device automatically saves the picture to the microSD card.) Camera Settings From the camera mode, tap each icon to adjust the following camera settings. Swap camera to switch between the camera's two views. Zoom to zoom in on an object. You can adjust the zoom from 1x to 2x. Brightness to select a brightness setting compatible with the environment. Flash mode to select Auto, On, or Off. Settings • Focus to bring the image into focus. • Image size to set the size of your picture. • Scene mode to choose a scene mode setting. • ISO to control the camera's sensitivity to light. Choose from Auto (default), 100, 200, 400, or 800. • White balance to select how the camera adjusts colors in different kinds of light in order to achieve the most natural-looking colors for your pictures. Choose from Auto, Incandescent, Sunny, Fluorescent, or Cloudy. • Color effect to apply different color effects to your pictures. Choose from None, Mono, Sepia, Negative. • Timer to set your camera's timer. • Shot mode to set your shot mode to Normal, Continuous shot, or Panorama. • Shutter sound to adjust the sound the shutter makes when taking a picture. • Auto review to set whether to view the picture that was just taken. Choose from Off, On, 2 sec (default), or 5 sec. • Tag location to select if you want to include geo-tagging information with your image. Camera and Video 151
