In-Call Options During a call, an options menu becomes available when you press the right softkey button (Actions). Select an option by pressing the corresponding keypad number while the Actions menu is open, or by highlight it and pressing OK . ᮣ Search ( 1 ) to launch your Internal Phone Book's search task. ᮣ Monitor On or Monitor Off ( 2 ) Select MonitorOn to route the phone's audio through the speaker. This feature may be useful when listening to voicemail or while you are on hold. Select MonitorOff to route the phone's audio back through the earpiece. Warning! Due to higher volume levels, do not place the phone near your ear during Monitor use. Note: The phone's microphone is muted during Monitor use. ᮣ Record ( 3 ) to record the incoming audio during a call. ᮣ Write Memo ( 4 ) to access the electronic notepad. ᮣ Menu ( 5 ) to access the phone's main menu. During a call, the left softkey functions as the Mute button. Press it to mute the phone's microphone for privacy. Press it again to Unmute the phone. End-of-Call Options After receiving a call from or making a call to a phone number that is not in your Internal Phone Book, the phone number and the duration of the call are displayed briefly. The right softkey displays the Save option. Select this option if you wish to add the new number to your Internal Phone Book. (See "Saving a Phone Number" on page 25.) After receiving a call from or making a call to a phone number that is already in your Internal Phone Book, the Phone Book entry name and phone number and the duration of the call are displayed briefly. The right softkey displays the option View. Select this option if you wish to view the Internal Phone Book listing for the number.
