Airplane Mode When your phone is in Airplane Mode, it cannot send or receive any calls or access any online information. You may still use the phone's other features, such as Games, Notepad, Voice Memos, etc., while you are in Airplane Mode. To turn Airplane Mode on or off: 1. From the main menu, select Settings ( 8 ). 2. Select Airplane Mode ( 8 ). 3. Read the Airplane Mode disclaimer and press OK . 4. Select On or Off and press OK . While in Airplane Mode, your phone's standby screen will display "Phone off." TTY Access A TTY (also known as a TDD or Text Telephone, is a telecommunications device that allows people who are deaf or hard of hearing, or who have speech or language disabilities, to communicate by telephone. While in TTY Mode, your phone will display the icon. To enable or disable TTY mode: 1. From standby mode, press # # 8 8 9 followed by the left softkey button (Save). 2. A disclaimer will appear notifying you of a potential decrease in headset audio with TTY enabled. Press OK . 3. Select TTY On or TTY Off and press OK . 4. Press END to exit the menu and return to standby mode. Note: If TTY Mode is enabled, a TTY device must be in use for the phone to function properly.
