Selecting Ringer Types for Messages To select a ringer type for messages: 1. From the main menu, select Settings ( 8 ). 2. Select Sounds ( 1 ). 3. Select Ringers ( 1 ). 4. Select Messages ( 2 ). 5. Select Voicemail ( 1 ) or Notifications ( 2 ). 6. Select a ringer menu by pressing the right softkey button (Actions) and choosing Default ( 1 ) for preprogrammed ringers or Download ( 2 ) for downloaded ringers. 7. Selecting a Key Tone Your phone offers a number of options for selecting the audible tones accompanying a key press. Longer tone lengths may be better for tone recognition when dialing voicemail or other automated systems, or you may choose from other more entertaining options. To select a key tone: 1.
