5. Install the new PCI card into the appropriate slot on the system board. See "Locating parts on the system board" on page 89. Then, pivot the PCI card latch to the closed position to secure the PCI cards. Figure 12. A battery keeps this information active when you turn off the computer. The battery normally requires no charging or maintenance throughout its life; however, no battery lasts forever.
