Disabling the TrackPoint or the touch pad If you want to disable the TrackPoint or the touch pad, do either of the following: Configure settings in UltraNav properties window: For Windows 7 1. Click Start ➙ Control Panel ➙ Hardware and Sound ➙ Mouse. 2. Click the UltraNav tab. 3. To disable the TrackPoint, clear the check box for Enable TrackPoint. To disable the touch pad, clear the check box for Enable touch pad. 4. Click OK. For Windows XP 1. Click Start ➙ Control Panel ➙ Printers and Other Hardware ➙ Mouse. 2. Click the UltraNav tab. 3. To disable the TrackPoint, clear the check box for Enable TrackPoint. To disable the touch pad, clear the check box for Enable touch pad. 4. Click OK. Note: You can also open the UltraNav properties window by clicking the UltraNav icon in the task bar. For details, refer to the instructions in "Adding the UltraNav icon to the system tray" on page 26. Adding the UltraNav icon to the system tray For easy access to the UltraNav properties, you can add the UltraNav icon to the system tray. To enable the display of the UltraNav icon on the system tray, do as follows: For Windows 7: 1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel. 2. Click Hardware and Sound, and then click Mouse. 3. Click the UltraNav tab. 4. Select the check box for Show UltraNav icon on the system tray. 5. Click OK or Apply. For Windows XP: 1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel. 2. Click Printers and Other Hardware, and then click Mouse. 3. Click the UltraNav tab. 4. Select the check box for Show UltraNav icon on the system tray. 5. Click OK or Apply. Disabling the TrackPoint or the touch pad
If you want to disable the TrackPoint or the touch pad, do either of the following:
Configure settings in UltraNav properties window:
For Windows 7
1. Click
Start
Control Panel
Hardware and Sound
Mouse
.
2. Click the
UltraNav
tab.
3. To disable the TrackPoint, clear the check box for
Enable TrackPoint
.
To disable the touch pad, clear the check box for
Enable touch pad
.
4. Click
OK
.
For Windows XP

For easy access to the UltraNav properties, you can add the
UltraNav
icon to the system tray.
