Replacing memory 8. With the notched end of the SO-DIMM toward the contact edge side of the socket, firmly insert the SO-DIMM into the socket at an angle of about 20 degrees 1 , then press it firmly 2 . 2 1 2 1 9. Push the SO-DIMM down until it snaps into place. 10. Make sure that the memory module is firmly fixed in the slot and does not move easily. 11. Reinstall the cover of the memory slot by aligning the front side of the cover first 1 , and closing the cover 2 .
