Basics Copying Printing Scanning Faxing Troubleshooting Index Scanning 55 Calibrating the scanner If you see streaks in your scan or copied images, you may need to calibrate the scanner. To re-initialize the scanner calibration: 1 Place a clean, white sheet of paper in the document support. 2 Press Setup on the operator panel. 3 Press Menu until MAINTENANCE appears on the top line of the display. 4 Press Options until SCANNER INIT appears on the bottom line. 5 Press Start. Calibrating the scanner
If you see streaks in your scan or copied images, you may need to calibrate the scanner.
To re-initialize the scanner calibration:
1
Place a clean, white sheet of paper in the document support.
2
Press Setup on the operator panel.
3
Press Menu until MAINTENANCE appears on the top line of the display.
4
Press Options until SCANNER INIT appears on the bottom line.
5
Press Start.
Note:
The initializing of the scanner calibration takes approximately one minute.
