Use this option to minimize your Internet connection response time as it is always connected. PPTP In Europe and Israel only, select PPTP from the Internet Connection Type dropdown menu if you wish to use the Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP) service, and enter the following: • IP Address-Enter the IP address provided by your ISP. This is the router's IP address, when seen from the WAN, or the Internet. • Subnet Mask-Enter the subnet mask provided by your ISP along with your IP address. This is the router's Subnet Mask. • Default Gateway-Enter the default gateway IP address provided by your ISP. • PPTP Server-Enter the IP address of the PPTP server. • User Name and Password-Enter the user name and password provided by your ISP.
