IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS - Any screw-in fuses in the household supply are fully unscrewed.  Never open the outer casing of the machine. Tampering with electrical connections or components and mechanical parts is highly dangerous to the user and can cause operational faults or electric shock.  To protect against fire, electric shock and injury to persons do not immerse cord, plugs, or coffee machine in water or other liquid.  Only use genuine Miele accessories. If other parts are used, warranty, performance, and/or product liability claims will be invalidated. 12
