AC1900 Cable Modem Voice Router Enable or Disable NAT Network address translation (NAT) is a method of remapping one IP address space into another by modifying network address information in Internet Protocol (IP) datagram packet headers while they are in transit across a traffic routing device. To enable or disable NAT: 1. Launch an Internet browser from a computer or mobile device that is connected to the network. 2. Type http://www.routerlogin.net or http://www.routerlogin.com. A login window opens. 3. Enter the user name and password. The user name is admin. The default password is password. The user name and password are case-sensitive. The BASIC Home page displays. 4. Select ADVANCED > Security > NAT Mode. The NAT page displays. 5. Select or clear the Turn NAT On check box. 6. Click the Apply button. Your settings are saved. Control Access to the Internet 41
