Host Authorization is used as a security feature to limit people who are not listed in the host table from accessing the switch. If Host Authorization is enabled, the host must be added to this table, through the Console port connection in order for an end station to be access the switch via SNMP. Add host o Enter the host name, IP address, and the community string.
