To clear the log entries, click the Clear Log button. 8. To email the log immediately, click the Send Log button. Set up a syslog server If a syslog server is present on your network, you can configure the router to send its system logs to the syslog server. To enable the syslog function and specify the syslog server: 1. Launch a web browser from a computer or mobile device that is connected to your Orbi network. 2. Enter orbilogin.com. A login window opens. 3. Enter the router admin user name and password. The user name is admin. The password is the one that you specified the first time that you logged in. The user name and password are case-sensitive. The BASIC Home page displays. 4. Select Advanced > Administration > Logs. The Logs page displays. 5. At the bottom of the page, in the Syslog Server section, select the Enable Syslog radio button. The Syslog fields become available. 6. Specify the IP address and port number for the syslog server: • Syslog Server IP Address. Enter the IP address of the syslog server on your network. • Syslog Port. Enter the port number through with the router can reach the syslog server. By default, the port number is 514. 7. Click the Apply button. Your settings are saved.
