Troubleshooting Problem Pictures are too dark (underexposed). Cause/Solution • Flash is set to W (off ). • Built-in flash window is blocked. • Subject is beyond flash range. • Adjust exposure compensation. • Raise the ISO sensitivity. • Subject is backlit. Raise the built-in flash, set Backlight of the scene mode or set the flash mode to X (fill flash), and then shoot the picture. Pictures are too bright (overexposed). Adjust exposure compensation.
