Using the Flash Setting the Flash Mode 1 Press the m (flash pop-up) button. The built-in flash will be raised. • When the built-in flash is lowered, the flash mode will be fixed to W (off ). Basic Photography and Playback: Auto Mode 2 Press m (flash mode). • The flash mode menu is displayed. 3 Use the multi selector to choose the desired mode and press the k button. • The icon for the selected flash mode is displayed at the top of the monitor. • When U (auto) is applied, D is only displayed for a few seconds even if monitor indicators (A15) are turned on. • If a setting is not applied by pressing the k button within a few seconds, the selection will be cancelled.
