3. Press Menu, and select Organiser, Synchronisation, Server sync, and Synchronise. The marked data of the active set will be synchronised after confirmation. Synchronising for the first time or after an interrupted synchronisation may take up to 30 minutes to complete if the contacts or calendar are full. Settings for synchronisation You may receive the configuration settings required for synchronisation as a configuration message from the network operator or service provider. To manage all the configuration settings, see Configuration settings on page 97. 1. Press Menu, select Organiser, and Synchronisation. 2. Select Server sync, and Sync settings. • Select Configuration. Only the configurations that support the synchronisation are shown. Select a service provider, Default, or Personal config. for synchronisation. You may receive the synchronisation settings as a configuration message, see Configuration settings service on page 17. To key in the configuration settings manually, see Configuration settings on page 97. Select Account and a synchronisation service account contained in the active configuration settings. 3. Select PC sync settings to key in the settings for server alerted synchronisation. Select to set User name and Password. The user name and password have to be the same in the phone and in the PC.
