Phone settings Press Menu, and select Settings and Phone settings. Select from the following settings: • Language settings, and to set the language for the display texts, select Phone language. If Automatic is selected, the phone selects the language according to the information on the SIM card. To use another language for writing text, select Writing language. You can also temporarily change the language for writing text. See Writing text on page 38. • Memory status to view the amount of free and used memory. • Security keyguard to set the phone to ask for the security code when you unlock the keyguard. When the keyguard is on, calls still may be possible to the official emergency number programmed into your device. Key in the emergency number and press . • Cell info display to set the phone to indicate when you use it in a cellular network based on Micro Cellular Network (MCN) technology (network service). • Welcome note to key in and save a personal note that is shown briefly when you switch on the phone. • Operator selection to set the phone automatically select one of the cellular networks available in your area. If you select Manual, you can select a network that has a roaming agreement with your home service provider.
