Unable to Receive a Fax Symptom Point to check Remedy Unable to receive a fax. Unable to receive a fax manually. F code polling fails and an error message is printed out. Did you specify the appropriate reception mode? Is there paper in the tray? Is there a paper jam? Is the telephone cable correctly connected to the MFP? Is there enough memory? Did you put down the handset before pressing ? Did the sender store a document in a bulletin box? Check the reception mode Load the paper. Check the error message and remove the jammed paper. Connect the telephone cable correctly. Check the available memory. Press first and then put down the handset. Contact the sender and ask him to store the polling document. Unable to Send or Receive a Fax Symptom Unable to send or receive a fax. Point to check Did you install an IP phone on the MFP in a broadband environment?
