ID Check Transmission This function checks and matches the last four digits of the destination numbers with those registered in the destination MFP. If this function is enabled, the MFP will transmit faxes only when they match. Note • If the destination MFP has no registered fax number, the MFP does not transmit the fax. • ID check transmission is unavailable when you transmit faxes manually. Configuring ID Check Transmission 1 Press the key. 2 Press the down arrow key to select [Admin Setup], then press . 3 Enter the administrator password. 4 Use the arrow keys to select [Enter], then press . 5 Press the down arrow key to select [Fax Setup], then press . 6 Press the down arrow key to select [Security Function], then press . 7 Make sure that [ID Check Tx] is selected, then press . 8 Press the down arrow key to select [ON], then press . 9 Use the left arrow key to go back to the main screen.
