One-Frame Erase You may erase unwanted pictures to increase available storage space. One-frame erase cannot be used when a picture is protected, or a write-protect seal is on the card. To erase these pictures, you must cancel the protection feature or remove the write-protect seal from the card. (The write-protect seal may not be reused after it has been removed from the card.) 31 1 With the lens barrier closed, press the monitor button. • The camera turns on in playback mode. The most recent frame is displayed on the monitor. 2 Select the picture you want to erase by pressing the arrow pad. 2,4 • You may also use one-frame erase in either one-frame display (p.50) or in the indexdisplay setting (p.51~52). Monitor 3 Press the erase button. YES NO • The confirmation screen appears. • To cancel one-frame erase, press the erase button again. 4 Select "YES" with the arrow pad, then press the OK ESC ENTER OK button. • The camera beeps once and erases the picture. To erase all pictures You may also erase all pictures stored on the card at once (p.110). CAUTION • Never open the card compartment cover, eject the card, remove the batteries, or disconnect the AC adapter while erasing pictures. Doing so may destroy the image data on the card.
