The memory gauge is full • No pictures can be taken when the memory gauge is full. Wait until there is space in the memory gauge. a Shoot Before taking any pictures (Off) b After taking one picture (Lit) Shoot c Shoot Wait After taking several pictures (Lit) d Maximum reached (All lit) The time and date have not been set Using the camera with the default setting • The default setting of the date and time is not correct. Set the correct time and date. g "X Setting the date and time" (P.30) The battery has been removed 5 • When the camera is left for about three days without the battery, the time and date will be returned to the factory default. Confirm the time and date before taking any pictures. Shooting tips Focusing on the subject There are several ways to focus, depending on the subject. When the subject is not in the center of the frame • Place the subject in the center of the frame, lock the focus on the subject, and then recompose your picture. g "Shutter button Shooting picture" (P.8) The subject is moving quickly • Focus the camera on a point roughly the same distance away as the subject you want to shoot (by pressing the shutter button halfway), and then recompose your picture and wait for the subject to enter the frame. • Set the mode dial to C to shoot.
