MD/CDR Mode MD/CDR mode is used to control an Onkyo MiniDisc recorder or CD recorder connected to the AV receiver via . To select MD/CDR mode, press the [MD/CDR] REMOTE MODE button. By default, this button is set to control a MiniDisc recorder. To control a CD recorder, it must be set to CD (see page 80). D Play [ ] button This button is used to start playback. E Previous & Next [ ]/[ ] buttons The Previous [ ] button is used to select the previous track. During playback it selects the beginning of the current track. The Next [ ] button is used to select the next track. F Pause [ ] button This button is used to pause playback. G REC [ ] button This button is used to start recording. H REPEAT button This button is used to set the repeat playback functions. I OPEN/CLOSE [ ] button This button is used to eject a MiniDisc or to open and close the CD recorder's disc tray. J CLEAR button This button is used to cancel functions and to clear entered numbers.
