N Stop [ ] button This button is used to stop playback. O RANDOM button This button is used with the random playback function. P MEMORY button This button is used with the memory playback function, which allows you to create a custom playlist of tracks. TAPE Mode TAPE mode is used to control an Onkyo cassette recorder connected to the AV receiver via . To set the remote controller to TAPE mode, press the [TAPE] REMOTE MODE button. For double cassette decks, only Deck B can be controlled. 1 Play [ ] button This button is used to start playback. 2 Previous & Next [ ]/[ ] buttons The Previous [ ] button is used to select the previous track. During playback it selects the beginning of the current track. The Next [ ] button is used to select the next track. The Previous and Next [ ]/[ ] buttons may not work properly with some cassette tapes depending on how they were recorded. 3 Reverse Play [ ] button This button is used to start reverse playback. 4 REC [ ] button This button is used to start recording. 5 VOL button This button is used to adjust the volume of the AV receiver. 6 MUTING button This button is used to mute the AV receiver. 7 Rewind & FF [ ]/[ ] buttons The Rewind [ ] button is used to start rewind.
