"Face Recognition AF" and "Face Recognition AE" are activated. When you point the camera at your subject's face, the camera automatically recognizes it, adjusting both focus and exposure. 1 Press the MENU button in Capture mode. The [A Rec. The camera is ready for taking pictures. • When the Face Priority is set to On, the Face Recognition function will work regardless of the shooting mode. • "Face Recognition AF" and "Face Recognition AE" may not work if the subject's face is partly covered, for example, with sunglasses, or when the subject does not face the camera. 112
