Taking Pictures Setting the Shooting Functions Four-way controller OK button Selecting the Focus Mode 4 Focus Mode = Standard (Autofocus mode) The camera focuses on the object in the autofocus area when the shutter release button is pressed halfway. Use this mode when the distance to the subject is more than approx. 35 cm (16 in.). q Macro mode This mode is used when the distance to the subject is approx. 12 cm - 40 cm (4.7 in. - 16 in.).
