English Français Deutsch Italiano Español Nederlands Connecting up 02 Connecting your component with no HDMI terminal This diagram shows connections of a TV and DVD player (or other playback component) with no HDMI terminal to the system. DVD player, etc. Select one DIGITAL OUT AUDIO OUT COAXIAL OPTICAL R ANALOG L VIDEO OUT TV VIDEO IN 2 1 3 1 2 1 1 Connect the composite video output on your DVD player to the VIDEO BD/DVD input on this system. Use a standard RCA video cable. 3 Connect the MONITOR OUT on this system to the composite video input on your TV. Use the supplied video cable. 2 Connect the audio output on your DVD player to the AUDIO BD/DVD IN inputs on this system. Use a stereo RCA phono cable. If your component has a digital output, you can also use an optical cable or coaxial cable for the connection.1 Note 1 In this case, you'll need to tell the system which digital input you connected the component to (see Choosing the input signal on page 54). 37 En
