Turning the Camera On and Off 1. Move the main switch to the ON position. Using the Vertical Battery Grip (SBG-D1V) (Sold Separately) Using the battery grip gives you a more comfortable position while shooting with a vertical angle of view. 2. The LCD panel and the monitor are turned on. Now you can take a picture using the camera. ● Always turn the camera off when not in use. ● The power will automatically turn off when you do not perform any operations within a set period of time. (Default setting is 1 minute) You can change the setting on the [Auto Power Off] menu of the [SETUP MENU] menu. To turn on the camera again, rotate the main switch or refer to the followings. - Press the shutter button halfway down. - Press the playback button ( ). - Press the INFO button. Turning the Camera On and Off

Move the main switch to the
ON
position.

The LCD panel and the monitor are turned on.
Now you can take a picture using the camera.
Always turn the camera off when not in use.
The power will automatically turn off when you do not perform any
operations within a set period of time. (Default setting is 1 minute) You
can change the setting on the [
Auto Power Off
] menu of the [
SETUP
MENU
] menu. To turn on the camera again, rotate the main switch or
refer to the followings.
- Press the shutter button halfway down.
- Press the playback button (
).
- Press the
INFO
button.
