Self-Timer Shooting When the self-timer is enabled, there is a delay between the pressing of the shutter release and the shutter firing. You can use this function when you want to take a shot of many people including yourself. Select or . • : Shutter will be released after about 12 seconds. Use this mode to include the photographer in the picture. • : After pressing the shutter button the mirror will pop up directly. The shutter is released after about 2 seconds. Use this mode to avoid camera shake when the shutter release button is pressed. 1. Press the Fn button on your camera and then press the direction button (▲).
