Internet Connection • Received: For the current connection, the amount of data received. • Transmitted: For the current connection, the amount of data transmitted. Connection Time For the current Internet connection, the period of time which has elapsed since the connection was established. • IP Address: The Internet IP address assigned to this device. • Mask: The network mask associated with the IP address above. • Gateway: The gateway IP address associated with the IP address above. • DNS: The Domain Name Server currently used by this device. • WLAN Profile: The Wi-Fi (802.11) profile currently in use. You can change this by selecting a different profile, and clicking the Apply button next to the profile list. • SSID: The SSID (network name) used by the current profile. • Security: The security method used by the current profile. • Users: The number of users (wireless clients) connected to this device, and the number of wireless clients allowed. This is presented in the form number connected /number allowed. • IP address: The IP address of this device, as seen by devices on the WLAN (802.11 wireless network). • Mask: The network mask associated with the IP address above. Buttons • Connect/Disconnect: The button will say Connect if a connection to the mobile data network is established, or Disconnect if the mobile data network is available but no connection currently exists. For other situations, this button will be grayed out. You can use this button to change the connection state as desired. • Apply: Use this button to change the current profile. Select the desired profile, then click this button. Note: Changing the current profile will disconnect all the current Wi-Fi clients, including yours. You will need to reconnect using the Wi-Fi settings for the new profile. Understanding Your Device 11
