Setting Up Your Phone Before using your phone, you need to install the SIM card, the optional microSD™ card, and the battery into their respective internal slots and compartments. Important! Before removing or replacing the battery cover, make sure the phone is switched off. To turn the phone off, hold down the power key until the power off image displays, then slide the screen down to power off. Removing the Battery Cover 1. Locate the cover removal opening (1). 2. Place your fingernail in the opening and pry the cover away from the device (2). Caution! Do not bend or twist the back cover excessively. Doing so may damage the cover. 6
