Applications Settings The Applications Settings feature allows you to configure the functional parameters for most of the onboard applications. These applications are described in more detail within other sections of this manual. 1. Touch Menu ➔ Settings ➔ Applications Settings. 2. Select the type of application which you want to change: • Messaging (see page 96) • Browser (see page 120) • Music Player (see page 66) • Mobile Video (see page 78) 120 • Video Share (see page 121) • Record Audio (see page 155) • Calendar (see page 121) • Address Book (see page 121). Browser Settings To configure the parameters on the onboard browser, use the Browser Settings page. 1. Touch Menu ➔ Settings ➔ Applications Settings ➔ Browser. 2. In Browser Settings, touch any of the following function fields. • Clear Caches: deletes the information stored in the cache. The cache stores the most recently accessed pages. • Delete Cookies: delete cookies. Cookies are pieces of personal information sent to a web server while navigating the web. • Cookie Options: sets whether cookies are stored on your phone (Accept All or Reject All). If you select Prompt, the phone asks you to save the cookies on every page requiring cookies. • Delete History: deletes the record of any previously visited websites. • Preferences: changes the settings for the web browser to suit your preference.
