Preparation Preparation Powering the Camera from an AC Outlet You can power the camera from a power outlet by using the supplied AC adapter. Note: • The supplied AC adapter is specially designed for use with this camera, and should not be used as a power supply for other equipment. 1 Make sure that the power is off. 2 Open the jack cover (see page 2). 3 Insert the DC plug into the DC IN jack (1), then plug the AC adapter into a power outlet (2). Notes: • BEFORE REMOVING THE DC PLUG, ALWAYS STOP OPERATIONS AND TURN THE POWER OFF. Removing the DC plug during operation may destroy the card, rendering it unreadable and unwritable. • Remove the DC plug from the camera if you will not use the camera for a long period of time. • The AC adapter attaches directly, so use close to an outlet and be careful that it does not detach. Powering the Camera
from an AC Outlet
You can power the camera from a power outlet
by using the supplied AC adapter.
Note:
• The supplied AC adapter is specially designed
for use with this camera, and should not be used
as a power supply for other equipment.
