Advanced Features Aperture Priority Mode In Aperture Priority mode, the camera determines the shutter speed automatically according to an aperture value set manually. 1 Set the Mode Dial to ";", then power on the camera. 5 Press the Shutter button half- way down to focus on the subject. • The camera automatically adjusts the shutter speed. 6 Press the Shutter button fully to capture the image. 2 Set any desired menu items. Note: • The available mode is described below the function title in each page. You can set the functions indicated with ";" in that description. 3 Press l or m to set the desired F-stop. • You can select 9 steps from F2.0 to F8.0. Aperture Priority mode icon About aperture setting The larger the aperture (smaller f-number) the more blurred the background and foreground will become. On the other hand, the smaller the aperture (bigger fnumber) the clearer the background and foreground will become. You may set a small f-number for portraits. About aperture setting
