Deleting One Stored Image Available in w mode You can delete unwanted images to free up card memory. Zooming a Preview Image Available in w mode This function allows you to magnify the preview image up to 4 times its original size. 1 Preview the image (see page 17 or 18). Basic Operations Operation button SET button "@" button 1 Set the Mode Dial to "w", then power on the camera. • The images recorded on the card are displayed in full screen format. 2 Press j or k on the Operation button to select the image to be deleted. 3 Press the @ button. 4 Press l or m to select "YES", then press the SET button to delete the image. 2 Press the Power Zoom "T" button to magnify the image. • Each time you press the button, magnification changes as shown below. 1K 2K 4K 3 Press j, k, l or m to shift the display area of the image. DEL E TE ? NO YES 00 100-0010 • To cancel deletion, press l or m to select "NO", then press the SET button. The menu screen appears. • If you want to delete another image, repeat steps 2 to 4. Notes: • To delete all images, see page 38. • Do not turn the power off while deleting an image. • Protected images cannot be deleted. Cancel the protection setting to delete the image (see page 33). • You can restore the most recent image deleted (see page 54). To return to original size Press the Power Zoom "W" button until the image returns to its original size. Note: • You cannot zoom in images that were recorded with a different camera. 19

Notes:

Zooming a Preview

This function allows you to magnify the preview
image up to 4 times its original size.

Preview the image (see page 17 or 18).

Press the Power Zoom “T” button to
magnify the image.
• Each time you press the button,
magnification changes as shown below.

area of the image.
To return to original size
Press the Power Zoom “W”
button until the image returns
to its original size.
Note:
• You cannot zoom in images that were recorded
with a different camera.
