Useful Features Capturing Setting the Digital Zoom Available in or . mode You can select two different zoom ranges : 13K (optical zoom), 3-9K (digital zoom).The digital zoom allows you to record powerful close-up pictures with the same operation as normal zooming. 1 Turn on the camera in the desired mode. 2 Press the MENU button until the menu screen appears. 3 Press l or m to select "O", then press the SET button. 4 Press l or m to select "DIGITAL ZOOM", then press the SET button. Note: • When using the digital zoom, you have to turn the LCD screen backlight on. When you turn off the LCD screen (by pressing the SET/DISPLAY button), the zoom returns to the optical zoom range.
