Basic Operations Previewing Previewing Images The LCD monitor screen functions as a handy preview monitor. Nothing needs to be connected, allowing instant on-screen preview. Mode dial Power button Operation button DISPLAY button Previewing still images 1 Set the Mode Dial to "w". 2 Press the Power button until the camera turns on. • The last image recorded on the card displays in full screen. [2 4 4 8] F ine 0.0 E V 1/ 5 0 0 F2 . 5 Notes: • Depending on the amount of data for the recorded image, the picture quality icon displayed during playback may not match the picture quality setting used during recording. • Images bigger than 2448K1632 pixels, e.g. images recorded on other equipment, display as thumbnails, not full screen. • Images and capture details recorded with a different camera may not display properly or not display at all. • Do not preview images on any card that has a defective image (with noise and distortion) created on other equipment. If you mistakenly preview the images on such a card, turn the power off, remove, and never use it with this camera again. 00 3 Press j or k to select 100-0005 the image. • When holding down the button, you can search through the images on the card.
