Applications and games You can use Windows® Marketplace to download applications and games to your phone. Windows® Marketplace can be found in the Windows® main menu. Installing applications You can install additional programs for your phone. The programs must be compatible with your phone, meaning they must be compatible with Windows Mobile® version 6.5. To install an application 1 First download the program to the computer. 2 If the program file is in compressed format, such as .zip, first extract the file. 3 Read any installation instructions or documentation that comes with the program. Many programs provide special installation instructions. 4 Connect your phone to the computer, preferably with the USB cable. 5 Double-click the program file (usually of .exe format). If it is of .cab format then copy the file in the device and click on the file from the device to start installation. Closing an application To close an application • Tap in any application window to close the application. By closing an application instead of minimizing it you will save battery power. Removing applications You can remove programs that you have installed. You cannot, however, remove programs that come with the phone. To remove an application 1 Tap > Settings > System > Remove Programs. 2 In the Programs in storage memory list, select the program you want to remove and tap Remove. 3 Tap Yes.
