- Playback - Basics - Playing back tape You can monitor the recorded tape on the LCD screen. If you close the LCD panel, you can monitor the playback picture in the viewfinder. You can also control playback using the Remote Commander supplied with your camcorder. (1) SetthePOWERswitchtoVCRwhilepressingthesmallgreenbutton. (2) PressOPENtoopentheLCDpanel. (3) Press torewindthetape. (4) Press tostartplayback. (5) Adjustthevolumefollowingthestepsbelow. 1 Press FN to display PAGE1. 2 PressVOL.Thescreentoadjustvolumeappears. 3 Press-(toturndownthevolume)/+(toturnupthevolume). 4 Press OKtoreturntoPAGE1. 3 4 1 POWER VCR OFF(CHG) CAMERA MEMORY Playback - Basics 5 OK 2 VOL To return to FN Press EXIT. The bar indicator To cancel playback Press . To rewind the tape Press during playback stop. To fastforward the tape Press during playback stop. To view a still image (playback pause) Press during playback. To resume playback, press again. If the playback pause lasts more than 5 minutes, the camcorder automatically switches to the stop mode. If you leave the power on for a long time Your camcorder gets warm. This is not a malfunction. 39
