Using the Menu TC/UB SET Menu item TC RUN TC MAKE UB TIME REC Sub-items/Settings REC RUN, FREE RUN PRESET, REGENERATE OFF, ON Description Sets how the timecode advances. REC RUN: Advances the timecode only during recording. Select this setting to record the timecode sequentially from the last timecode of the previous recording. • Even if the timecode advances in [REC RUN] mode, the timecode may not be recorded sequentially in the following cases: - When the recording format is changed. - When the memory card is removed. FREE RUN: Advances the timecode regardless of operation of your camcorder. Sets how the timecode continues. PRESET: Records a preset set timecode on the memory card.
