Amplifier Operations • FRONT SP SMALL If the sound is distorted, or you feel a lack of surround effects when using multi channel surround sound, select "FRONT SP SMALL" to activate the bass redirection circuitry and output the front channel bass frequencies from the sub woofer. When the front speakers are set to "FRONT SP SMALL", the center and surround speakers are also automatically set to "CTR SP SMALL" and "SUR SP SMALL" (unless previously set to "CTR SP NO" and "SUR SP NO"). x CENTER SPEAKER (Center speaker) • CTR SP LARGE If you connect a large speaker that will effectively reproduce bass frequencies, select "CTR SP LARGE". Normally, select "CTR SP LARGE".
