You can set the assignment for the SPEAKERS SURROUND BACK/BI-AMP/FRONT HIGH/FRONT B terminals. 1 Select [Speaker Setting] from the home menu. 2 Select [Surround Back Speakers Assign]. 3 Set the assignment for the SPEAKERS SURROUND BACK/BI-AMP/FRONT HIGH/FRONT B terminals. Surround Back Speakers: When using the surround back speaker connection. Bi-Amplifier Speakers: When using the bi-amplifier speaker connection. Front B Speakers: When using the front B speaker connection. Front High Speakers: When using the front high speaker connection. None Speaker: When none of the connections above is used. Note You can only set [Surround Back Speakers Assign] when headphones are not connected. Hint You can also set the assignment for the surround back speaker terminals from [SB ASSIGN] in the [] menu on the display panel. [100] Adjusting Settings Speaker Settings Adjusting the speaker size (Size) You can adjust the size of each speaker (front left/right, front high left/right, center, surround left/right and surround back left/right). 1 Select [Speaker Setting] from the home menu. 2 Select [Size]. 3 Select the speaker on the screen for which you want to adjust the size. 4 Select the size you want. Large: If you connect large speakers that will effectively reproduce bass frequencies, select [Large]. Select [Large] usually. Small: If the sound is distorted or you hear a lack of surround effects when using multi channel surround sound, select [Small]. You can activate the bass redirection circuitry and output the bass frequencies of each channel from the subwoofer or other [Large] speakers. Note [Size] cannot be set when headphones are connected.
